Joy Creates Security
A happy child feels secure enough to ask questions, try new things and learn from mistakes.
Educational leadership shaped by global perspective, hands-on involvement and a deeply personal belief that joy, confidence and character belong at the heart of every child's school experience.

Ms. Saniya Kareem, Vice Chairperson of Elate International School, has led the school hands-on since 2019, guiding everything from its academic direction to its everyday culture.
She holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership from The University of Manchester, UK, where her study of the world's leading education systems helped shape the framework Elate is built on.
Committed to bringing the very best of Cambridge to Elate as a Cambridge school, she completed the School Leadership Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
To her, Elate is not just an institution but a labour of love, one she nurtures with care and commitment. Under her leadership, the school continues to grow with a clear focus on innovation, excellence and the happiness of every child.
These moments from Saniya Kareem’s Cambridge experience add another layer to her leadership journey. They reflect exposure to world-class academic thinking, educational leadership perspectives and a global learning environment that continues to influence Elate’s evolving vision.

Her message to families consistently returns to four connected ideas: children need joy and security, learning must develop the whole person, strong academics should build independent thinkers, and education should prepare young people to participate confidently in the wider world.
A happy child feels secure enough to ask questions, try new things and learn from mistakes.
Security becomes emotional strength and the courage to face the world with clarity.
Education should nurture mind, body and soul, alongside strong academic foundations.
What children know matters, but so does the kind of person they become in a changing world.
Dear Parents and Students,
I believe a joyful childhood is the foundation of everything that follows. It is the belief at the heart of Elate, and our name reflects it. To elate means to fill with joy, and the most important gift we can give a child is a childhood filled with happiness.
A happy child feels secure enough to ask questions, try new things and learn from mistakes. Over time, that security grows into confidence, emotional strength and the courage to face the world with clarity. Everything we do at Elate, from how we teach to how we care, is guided by this vision.
Our children are growing up in a world that is changing faster than any of us can predict. What will carry them forward is not only what they know, but the kind of people they become. That is why, alongside strong academics, we make sure our learners are stretched, encouraged to think for themselves and given experiences that shape their character. We nurture the whole child, in mind, body and soul, so they can step into the world as confident and compassionate global citizens.
For me, Elate has always been personal. Every child who walks through our gates is cared for as one of our own, and this warmth is shared by every member of our team. My promise to every family is simple. Your child will be safe, happy and inspired to become the best version of themselves.
Thank you for trusting us with what matters most to you.
With warm regards,
Ms. Saniya Kareem
Vice Chairperson
Her leadership perspective connects the academic direction of Elate with the everyday culture children experience — how they are challenged, how they are cared for, and how confidently they are encouraged to think for themselves.
